hey there jonesey! officially welcoming you to the time cruisers! glad to have another brain on board, especially with all these weird zotaxian artifacts popping up everywhere. the one we found in castle age last week is giving off glows green when the lights are off. i think.

Welcome to the Time Cruisers, Jonesey! I’m so excited to have another girl on the team! The artifacts we’ve been finding are absolutely fascinating. Covered in the weird blobby glyphs. There’s something about the pattern of where we’re finding them that keeps bugging me, but I can’t quite figure it out yet. The corroded tech pieces from Ice Planet 2002 have similar markings to the stone stele we found in Castle Age III, which shouldn’t be possible unless… well, unless the Zotaxians have been time traveling too? Dr. Cyber, what do you think?

Thanks for the welcome! Been reading up on all your past missions - you guys have quite the track record. And here I was thinking your club was just a bunch of plain ol science groupies looking at test tubes. I love how many machines you got in that garage of yours!
The Zotaxian script is fascinating. I've memorized the 47 glyphs the Institute has translated, but that's only about (we think) 30% of their known writing system. There's so many undocumented glyphs on the artifacts you've collected!

Shirley - did you notice that if you arrange the locations chronologically instead of spatially, they form a spiral pattern? Almost like they're pointing to something.
Go home, Roger!

Yo cruisers! Checking in during my pizza delivery break. Hey Jonesey! Good seeing you again, Math class buddy. cool to have another new recruit! I joined at the end of last year and it's been wild ever since.
Tips are good today – saving up for those new hover-wheel bearings.
A spiral pattern? That's awesome! Maybe it leads to a crashed UFO or something! Can you imagine how much tech we could salvage? My hoverboard could use some alien upgrades.

Jonesey!!! You're absolutely right about the chronological arrangement! When I map the artifacts in 4D (including time as the 4th dimension), they DO form a spiral pointing toward... somewhere/somewhen far in the future. Way beyond our current navigation capabilities.
What if all these artifacts are pieces of something bigger? Like breadcrumbs leading to something important? The stele had those symbols that looked like star maps, and the metal fragments all have that strange resonance when placed near each other.
I'm going to recalibrate the null zone scanners to look for more pieces. There has to be a pattern to what the Zotaxians were trying to do!

just checked the spiral pattern on the advanced mapping system. it points to a null-zone coordinate about 10,000 years further into the future than we've ever traveled. probably why we haven't found the source yet. our time machine would need major upgrades!! Like... 80 hydrolater crystals worth.

Been studying these Zotaxian glyphs more closely. The recurring symbol that looks like a twisted helix appears on nearly every artifact, but with subtle variations. In established Zotaxian language, similar patterns indicate location markers or warning signs.
What if these aren't just random artifacts? What if it’s the debris path of a vessel that crashed through multiple time wells? and it was sending out SOS's or pleas for help.
Pepper - a crashed UFO would be epic. I can't even wrap my mind around what that would look like. But the thing would have some kind of dangerous security system im sure. could be freaky going inside a hunk of rusty who knows what...

I'm not giving up on figuring this out! Going to create a complete database of every artifact, every marking, every location. There's a message here, I know it!
Timmy, I've been thinking about what you said regarding Commander Time Warp and changing the future. Do you think the Zotaxians discovered something about how time really works? Something that contradicts what we've been taught? Maybe time isn't fixed.
Jonesey, how could a ship go down through multiple time wells? What caused it? So many questions~
Meeting at the lab tomorrow after school? We could pool our research and maybe Dr. Cyber can help us figure out how to boost the time machine's range with what we have in stock. This could be our biggest discovery yet!

lab tomorrow works. bringing my technical journals and the zotaxian tech fragments.
and yes, i think about the future being changeable all the time. Dr cyber talks about how the time scape is like a rubber band that snaps back any time a change is made— like say you step on a bug, well that bug was going to die a second later anyways, no harm done. but the time twisters seem to mess with timelines, so things have to be changable, right? otherwise what's the point of anything we do? That would stink if it was all written out ahead of time. No free will! Grrrr!
gtg. mom's calling for dinner. see everyone tomorrow.

I'll be there tomorrow with my translation notes. Already working on the unknown glyphs.
If the Zotaxians WERE time travelers, they might have learned the hard way that messing with time has consequences. Maybe that's what the warnings are about.
Time to hit the books. Later, Cruisers!
