#2: "Young Dr. Cyber" - This flashback issue reveals how young Jørn Cyber first encountered time anomalies as a 10-year-old Cyber Scout in 3705. Young Jørn builds his first robot, named Cranky, while earning his Engineering Badge and accidentally creates a time rift that brings a dinosaur into their campground. Cranky helps him save the day! Early Cranky is endearingly clumsy but earnest, constantly apologizing for errors while trying hard to please his creator.

#3: "Knights, Castles, and Time Bandits" - Timmy and Ingo's first journey lands them in Castle Age II amid warring Lion Knights and Black Falcons. Timmy witnesses the mysterious Time Twisters stealing a sacred relic while Cranky's frantic communications break through at the worst possible moments.

#4: "Freezing on Ice Planet" - Following the Time Twisters leads Timmy to Ice Planet 2002. Timmy befriends the Ice Planet explorers while trying to recover the stolen relic, only to fall into a trap set by Tony Twister and Dr. Millennium. Meanwhile, Cranky secretly begins his first self-upgrade, determined to be more helpful.

#5: "Space Age Scramble" - With his return device damaged, Timmy finds himself in the Space Age caught between Futuron explorers and Blacktron agents. Timmy discovers the Time Twisters have allied with Blacktron forces to collect nexus relics - powerful objects that can bend reality itself.

#6: "Pirate’s Ahoy" - Timmy crashes into pirate-infested seas. He teams up with a down-on-his-luck sea captain to try and reclaim a treasure from the fierce Captain Brickbeard, which contains a jewel that should help power the damaged Hypno Cruiser.

#7: "Time Twister Showdown" - Timmy faces the Time Twisters in an underwater temple and manages to recover the stolen relic, only to be separated from Ingo during their escape through cascading time portals. Tony Twister might not be so bad after all, but we’re not sure!

As Timmy navigates increasingly unstable time zones, Dr. Cyber and Cranky work desperately to create a retrieval device. Cranky heroically pushes his systems beyond their limits, refusing to shut down until Timmy is found. The emotional reunion when Timmy finally returns! Dr. Cyber explains that time is somewhat flexible but naturally snaps most changes back, unless nexus relics are displaced. Timmy is officially designated the first Junior Time Cruiser. A mysterious shadowy figure watches from across time.

#8: "The New Girl's Notebooks" - We meet Shirley Hagen (me!), an awkward 10-year-old girl nerd, who loves the ancient medium of comic books, such as Elfquest and Bone, and aspires to make her own. Also, she loves anything Unicorn and fairies. She just moved to town. Shirley arrives at Neo Merrimack District School in the fall and is immediately targeted by the other 5th-grade kids for her Renaissance-inspired clothes and timid demeanor. On a particularly hard day, Timmy is the only one who helps pick up her things when tripped in the hallway. He makes a special impression on her. Timmy is her neighbor! Then she notices some funny activity happening at the toy shop where Timmy seems to go often after school.

#9: "The Observer Observed" - Timmy and Shirley get pared up in Life Sciences class for experiments, much to Timmy’s dismay, and Shirley’s embarrassment (and secret curiosity). She continues to watch him go down into what appears to be a secret lab after school. In a secret cool lab in the Null Zone, called “Mystic Magic Cove,” Timmy and Dr. Cyber are working on a new and sleeker time machine, called Rocket Racer. Shirley finally works up the courage to visit Timmy and ask if they can check out Dr. Cyber’s toy shop. She finally gets it out of the boy that there’s a secret lab beneath it. But while visiting Dr Cyber, Timmy and Shirley are accidentally flung through time in the experimental Rocket Racer. Timmy is horrified, but Shirley is ecstatic. They arrive in the Null Zone, the cosmic pathways between worlds and times, and are lost. Timmy grudgingly begins to respect Shirley's knowledge as they work together to find their way home.

#10: "Fright!" - With the Rocket Racer miscalibrated (because it wasn’t quite finished yet), Timmy and Shirley navigate through the bizarre Null Zone. They crash into the Fright Knights realm, Timmy and Shirley must escape Basil the Batlord's castle. As they team up to escape pickle after pickle, they start to trust each other as friends. A quiet moment between them, Shirley opens up about her bullies in 5th grade, and Timmy listens gracefully. Before they get back to the time machine, they glimpse an unknown time traveler in the shadows, with equipment far more advanced than anything they’ve seen, and nefarious intent.

#11. "Escape from Moon 26" - They finally get the Rocket Racer up, jumping to another zone instead of home, unfortunately. Dr. Cyber traces Timmy and Shirley to the Zotaxian UFO base on Moon 26 and launches a daring rescue mission. Before they’re pulverized by the ancient base’s defenses, the Doctor swipes them up. Safely home, Shirley is officially welcomed as the newest Junior Time Cruiser, with Timmy presenting her badge happily. Their friendship has been forged!

#12: “Bullies, Bruises, and Bitrates” - Dr. Cyber tells the team about an unknown time traveller causing havoc in time realms very far past the reach of Dr Cyber's instrument detectors. He must have advanced equipment, possibly from the future, and must be stopped, but not sure how. Next, we see day to day life with the team between missions in late 3777. Shirley continues to face bullying at school, while Timmy struggles with homework, strange feelings for a girl named Aurelia in his Phys-Ed class, and Time Cruiser responsibilities. Shirley gradually switches to more regular clothes in a failed attempt to stop the bullying. She deals with her own huge crush on her friend Timmy. Dr. Cyber tries to learn more about the unknown time traveller.
