Greetings Time Cruisers!
Just an informational post for using this NABU site. You'll notice there's a page called "Time Machine." Cranky and I have set up a virtual time-zetacorder and linked the controls to machinery we have at the Magic Mountain Time Lab at Moonwake Cove. Accessing this page with your computer, you can actually do some lite time travel. Mainly, you can use this to check for any easy-to-spot anomalies. Here's how you use the console:

1. Select the year here by clicking the yellow wheel. You can travel to almost any time! But if the numbers are limited to just a few, that means the equipment is experiencing issues and I've powered down most of the conduits.
2. Here, you can select the maps we have in our archive. Each is from a different time-well, such as the pirate map, the zotaxian star chart, and the town race track, and each has a different temporal signature. Keep in mind, the machine views each map as corresponding to a number, 1 through 14, with the blue stud background counting as 0. You can cycle through maps with the arrow buttons at no. 3.
4. Cranky has loaded 4 hats from our collection of nexus relics. Click on the hat to change it.
5. Ah yes, the hypno disc, my prized invention (erm, besides Cranky). Click on the disc to activate the machine and view the time-zone at the coordinates you've entered (please note, the disc is inactive until you've clicked one of the arrow keys, as blue image 0 designates that the map slot is empty.

Selecting a different year, map, or hat will adjust the coordinates of the machine. It's important that you know the proper combination to get to where you want.

IMPORTANT: only use combinations that I or Cranky have given you. The machine has the potential to view a dangerous or temporally hazardous area, should you enter a random combination and time cruise to that spot in time-space. But if you are part of the Time Cruisers, I'm sure you already accept that there are risks, times to be heroic, and times to exercise caution.

To the best of my ability, I've entered some safeguards into the machine to keep it from navigating to these destinations. For example, most of the time, the machine will only take you to the year of our own timeline that you've selected, and not to a different universe.

Next week in the lab, we'll all have a hands-on session with the equipment to give you a better sense of its function.

As we say: Time-on!
(is that what our slogan is? i'll have to work on that...)
To Infinity! And Beyond!
