Everyone!!! I found it! After months of plotting artifact locations and translating those partial glyphs, I've triangulated what I'm 99% sure are the coordinates of a Zotaxian vessel! The pattern was a spiral like Jonesey predicted, but with a temporal axis twist I didn't account for initially.

The only problem is... it's REALLY far into the future. Like, way beyond our current engine capacity. The Flying Time Vessel would need major upgrades to reach it. But this is it - I'm sure of it! All the artifacts we've been finding are pieces that scattered backward through time when the ship crashed!

just checked your calculations shirley. they look solid. the temporal equations actually add up. this could be the real deal.
problem is the distance. we'd need at least triple our current power output to reach those coordinates. and that means serious hardware upgrades.

I've been tinkering with some engine mods that might boost us 50%, maybe 60% with overclocking, but nowhere near what we'd need for this jump. We're talking serious equipment we don't have yet.
On a totally different note - what's the deal with Maniac walking you to class every day this week? The whole school's talking about it. Kassandra looked like she was gonna explode when he ignored her to sit with you at assembly yesterday!

But... since you asked... I don't know what's happening with Maniac either. He just started standing up for me when Kassandra's group was being mean, and now he walks me to class sometimes. It's kind of nice not being the target of jokes for once, but also really weird, with how popular he is.
The best part is how everyone who used to ignore me is suddenly being nice. Tiffany even complimented my unicorn backpack yesterday! The same one she called “Nick Jr.” last month!
Back to important things - any ideas on how we might upgrade the Flying Time Vessel to reach these coordinates?

not sure we should trust this maniac guy. seems suspicious that he suddenly cares after ignoring you all year. what's his angle? What’s with the name “maniac” anyways? Sounds scary. and he wears those dumb sunglasses inside.
but whatever. ship upgrades. we'd need a new temporal core at minimum. plus enhanced stabilizers to handle the reality distortion that far forward. rough estimate puts it around 60,000 hover-credits. don't exactly have that in the club budget.

As for the ship, we need serious funding. Science fair grand prize is only 5,000 credits. Dr. Cyber mentioned something about a Boston museum with a magical artifact that could boost our engine output, but we'd need permission to borrow it.
Maybe we need to organize some fundraisers? Or... I hate to say it, but Pepper might be onto something with the Maniac connection.

The museum artifact sounds promising! It's that wizard hat that Dr. Cyber mentioned, right? Supposedly it can amplify magical energy fields? That could work with our current engine design.
We'd need to raise funds for the other components though. Maybe a series of fundraisers? Time Cruiser car wash? Bake sale? Temporal science demonstrations?

We could enter the Regional Science Exhibition next month. Grand prize is 20,000 credits. Not enough for everything, but it's a start.
